5/8/2025 2 Comments Update 5/7Good Morning!
After walking the strawberry fields is glaringly obvious that peak strawberry season has ended. You will have to walk further and look under leaves to find the fruit. Without decent ripening weather earlier in the week the strawberry supply will be limited today and tomorrow. But the farm is always worth a visit! It looks like with the weather forecast and green berry supply that we will have a small burst of ripe fruit on Saturday morning. If looking to come out this week, Saturday morning will give you the best chance for the most fruit. The farm has been missing having flowers available to pick, but the sunflowers look ALMOST ready!! We will know more tomorrow, but it's looking like they might make an appearance just in time for Mother's Day! We will give you a better update and with more details on sunflowers tomorrow! Thanks for following along on our growing adventure where every day is a little different.

5/3/2025 1 Comment Update for 5/4/2025What a beautiful day Saturday was! Like I predicted, berry supply dwindled by mid day and now we are left with very few berries for Sunday pickers. Sunday will be another excellent weather day to enjoy the farm animals, farm fun, and farm treats, just not a good day to pick fruit. Berries will be very hard to find Sunday. Not to worry, strawberry season isn't over yet with a great number of green berries in the field! We just need to wait on them to ripen up.
Can't wait to see you on the farm soon! 5/3/2025 0 Comments Update 5/3/25What a beautiful morning we are having that is shaping up to be a beautiful spring day! .... in May? We are so thankful for anything below 90 during strawberry season to keep the berries going!
Berry picking will be good this morning, with supply dwindling by mid-day/early afternoon. We did not get any rain under the severe storm watch last night or the day before, so after this dew burns off the grounds will be 95% mud free! (Just keep an eye out because there is a 100% chance that your kiddo will find the 5% mud!) All activities are open and we will be here with smiling faces and delicious ice cream and popsicles! See you soon! 5/2/2025 0 Comments Friday 5/2No rain here at the farm last night!
LEFT side of the road is open 8:30 - 1:00 today! RIGHT side open 8:30 am - 5:30 pm! We've got all our activities open today, and berry picking will be good! See you soon! 5/1/2025 0 Comments May 1, 2025 5:30 PMNo rain... yet. We will update y'all first thing in the morning what the conditions of the farm is like. The farm is always open rain or shine! Friday 5/2 regardless of weather will open the LEFT side of the road for berry picking for the morning ONLY. LEFT side will be open from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm. Berry picking will be pretty good!
the RIGHT side of FM 1980 will be open 8:30-5:30 rain or shine with ripe fruit to pick as well! See y'all in the morning. 5/1/2025 0 Comments Update for 5/1Finally, some red graces the field again! We will have good picking for our Thursday customers!
3 Tips for y'all... 1.Look inside the strawberry plant for the best fruit! 2.Don't wear new and/or white shoes to the farm. 3. Make sure your shoes are closed toe. No rain here Wednesday so Thursdays grounds will be great! I'll post again this evening to give you some insight into Friday/weekend picking. See you at the farm soon! |
